One of the greatest athletes to come out of Moclips High School (now North Beach). Charley was a stellar running back and linebacker on an outstanding GHC footbal team in the 1952. The Chokers lost, 32-20, to an Everett team the wound up winning the Junior Rose Bowl that year. Charley was also a pitcher and outfielder on the Chokers baseball team in 1953 and 1955.
