Grays Harbor College Athletics

McClanahan was a two-year men's basketball standout at GHC, leading the Chokers to a Northwest tournament appearance in 1978-79. He later played at Rider College in New Jersey and was inducted into the Northwest Champion Hall of Fame in 1996. McClanahan became a decorated police officer, now living in Mesa, Arizona.
