Grays Harbor College Athletics

A graduate of Elma High School, Joe Malik played basketball for two years at GHC, graduating in 1958. He is best known, however, as the GHC president from 1972-89. Executive Director, Northwest Association of Colleges and Universities 1989-1997. Extremely active in the promotion of school activities, Malik served on several Northwest Athletic Associations of Community Colleges committees and is a member of the NWAACC Hall of Fame.
