Karla Hodge Smith was a three-sport letter winner at GHC from 1976-78, excelling in volleyball, basketball, and softball. A scrappy competitor, the Aberdeen High alum was noted for her leadership skills and was a team captian and/or inspirational award winner in all three sports. She later served as an assistant coach on the Choker volleyball and softball teams.
