San Juan, PR - It was a long grueling day of wrestling for the Chokers. The team is currently in 5th place in the 70 team event and there are 11 GHC wrestlers still battling for All-American status.

Elijah Gandert, who is the #2 seed, is the only Choker still in on the championship side of the bracket. He advanced to the quarterfinals by defeating P. Pebble (Slippery Rock U) by fall in 32 seconds.  He then defeated J. Sandoval (U of Florida) 10-3. 

Other Chokers still competing are: 125 Dorian Tollenaar 1-1, 133 Jeremy Roberts 2-1, 141 Ian Campbell 1-1, 149 Bo Davis 3-1, 149 Austin Cleland 2-1, 165 Karter Kares 3-1, 174 Elijah Fisher 2-1, 184 Diego Tapia 2-1, 184 Darrian Walters 3-1, and 235 Alexander Perez 1-1.
