We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Jody Pope as the new Director of Athletics at Grays Harbor College, effective September 27th. We are excited to welcome her to our athletic family and look forward to the leadership and vision she will bring to our programs.

Jody comes to us with a wealth of experience in management and administration, having previously served as Interim Director of Athletics at GHC from January-September 2024, student success navigator in athletics, and district manager for another state agency. Jody has a Bachelor of Science from Washington State University and a Masters of Science from Western Washington University.  Jody has a long history of coaching softball at different levels, most recently Jody served as the college's assistant softball coach.  Jody's commitment to student-athlete development and passion for fostering a culture of excellence align perfectly with our mission at Grays Harbor College.

As we embark on this new chapter, Jody will be focused on enhancing our athletic programs, promoting inclusivity, and building strong relationships within our community. She will work closely with coaches, staff, and students to ensure that our athletics program continues to thrive and provide valuable experiences for all participants.
