Grays Harbor softball celebrated a special Sophomore Night last Friday, May 1st, as they hosted Lower Columbia College in a late-season matchup.
The program took time to recognize its sophomore class: McKenzie Breakfield, Cayleigh White, Ashlyn Crone, Emma Klarman, Abby Martinez, and Aryssa Aburto. Each athlete was honored alongside family and teammates, marking the impact they've had on the program this season. Together, they've brought experience, leadership, and a competitive edge that has been felt throughout the lineup.
Grays Harbor also took a moment to acknowledge Lower Columbia College's eight sophomores, recognizing their contributions and careers. The doubleheader against Lower Columbia provided a strong competitive setting, with both teams battling throughout the afternoon.
As they near the end of their time at Grays Harbor, these six student-athletes leave behind a strong foundation for the softball program. Their dedication on and off the field has helped set the standard, and their contributions will continue to be felt by the team moving forward. Thank you Sophomores!
