Centralia, WA - The Chokers took an early lead at Centralia but were unable to hold off the hot shooting Blazers in the second half and fell 75-71. The team was up 17-1 to start the first half and had a 33-25 lead at the first half buzzer. Things were looking up to start the second half with the Chokers extending their lead by 10 at one point. The Blazers then got on a hot streak and went on a 19-2 run that the Chokers were unable to answer. Centralia went up by 11 points at one point but GHC clawed back into the game but were unable to overcome the deficit.
The Chokers shot 45% going 30-67 from the floor and had 40 rebounds for the game.
Kobe Rudolph and
Izaiah Sanders led the team in scoring with 14 each. Rudolph and
Jonathan Ross both had 9 rebounds.
The Chokers are back home this Saturday at 4pm versus Lower Columbia College.
