Grays Harbor Opens Home Conference Play with a Win Over Centralia

Grays Harbor College Men's Basketball made a strong statement in their first home conference game of the season, defeating Centralia College 84–75 on Wednesday night inside the Grays Harbor College Gym.
The Chokers controlled the tempo early, taking a 45–36 lead into halftime and maintaining their advantage throughout the second half. Grays Harbor shot an impressive 59.3 percent from the field and 50 percent from three-point range, showcasing efficient offensive performance.

Nick Sanders led all scorers with 17 points on 7-of-9 shooting while adding three rebounds and a block. Andrew Vindivich provided a major spark off the bench, recording a perfect 5-for-5 shooting night and knocking down three three-pointers to finish with 15 points, six rebounds, and three assists.

Baaroc Rivers added 14 points and two assists, while Jamaire Grant contributed 12 points on 6-of-7 shooting. Jackson Lusk also chipped in 12 points and grabbed a team-high seven rebounds to help anchor the Chokers.
Grays Harbor held Centralia to 44.3 percent shooting and forced 12 turnovers, capitalizing on key defensive stops to preserve their lead down the stretch.

The win improves the Chokers in conference play and marks a successful start to their home NWAC schedule.

Grays Harbor will look to build on this momentum as conference action continues with a home game at Grays Harbor College on Saturday, January 17th at 2:00pm.
