The Chokers came up a couple baskets short Saturday night in Auburn. The 91-87 loss puts the Chokers in a very difficult spot to make the NWAACC Tournament. The Chokers will now have to win their remaining games against Pierce College and Lower Columbia College. They also will need help from Centralia College. Centralia must beat LCC on Wednesday to force a winner gets in game in the Choker finale.

Tim Straughter turned in his best performance of the season in the unfortunate Green River loss. Tim scored 24 points and hauled in 11 rebounds on the night. Tim was very efficient on the night knocking down both of his threes (2/2) and all of his free throws (6/6). Bryan McGriff also had a great night scoring 18 points and gathering 11 rebounds for the contest.
