Grays Harbor bested the Centralia Trailblazers Wednesday night at Grays Harbor with a 64-63 victory.
Josh Adamsel Jr hit a fade away from the right elbow with 7 seconds lefts, to put the Chokers up 1. The Blazers Bryson Williams got as open of a look as the Chokers would allow with 4 seconds left. With defender
Keon Dewalt in his face, the ball hit off the back of the rim and was tipped out of bounds off a Blazer player with .6 seconds left on the clock. All the Chokers had to do was inbound the ball and the horn sounded for their first home victory of conference play! Four Chokers finished with double digit points, including Dewalt leading the way with 24.
Micah Garrett had 12, Adamsel Jr. had 11 and
Nate Campbell chipped in 10. Garrett and Campbell also notched seven rebounds each.
The Chokers head to Lower Columbia College on Saturday which will be a big test as they face off against the top ranked team in the NWAC in the Red Devils. Tip off is set for 5pm!
