Grays Harbor College Athletics

Craig first came to GHC as a student in 1957-58. After graduating from WSU he returned to accept a position as the music teacher at GHC in 1962. Craig became Dean of Students and Athletic Director in 1972 and served in that capacity until he retired in 1992. Instrumental in the development of NWAACC, he also led GHC into the era of women's athletics. The "outstanding female athlete" award is named in his honor.

A gifted musician, Craig has performed professionally for many years. As the voice of Choker Basketball, his enthusiastic support is greatly missed. Craig was inducted into the NWAACC Hall of Fame in 1993.
