Grays Harbor College Athletics

Marvin started at end on the 1949 Chokers Football Team that lost only one game. He was selected as an All-American in recognition of his tremendous accomplishments on the field. He alse served as Vice-President of the Freshman Class. Marvin transferred to Stanford University where he continued his outstanding career before playing for the Special Units of the Armed Services and being drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 1954

After many successful years in buisness, Marvin returned to GHC as a teacher in the early 70's when he was hired by Dr. Eddie Smith to start the mid-management program.
